Overview

The Gantt chart has three settings dialogs that control how bars look, how the chart behaves, and how the timescale is divided. Open each dialog from the Gantt toolbar or by right-clicking the chart background or header.

Tips & Best Practices

  • Enable Primary Baseline bar style (hidden by default) to see baseline vs. current comparison directly on the Gantt
  • Use the Colour By option in Chart Options to quickly identify activity status or calendar assignment
  • Month/Week tier mode is ideal for most construction and EPC schedules
  • Use Sight Lines to mark contract milestones, data dates, or reporting deadlines
  • The Collapse Threshold prevents tiny bars from cluttering the chart on long timelines
