Status Bar and Context Menu
The status bar and context menu help designers understand the current page state and act on selected components without hunting through panels.
Status bar indicators
| Indicator | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Component count | How many components are on the active output. |
| Zoom | Current canvas zoom level. |
| Layout mode | Whether the body is grid or freeform. |
| Selection state | Whether a component, row, column, or cell is selected. |
Context menu actions
Right-click actions depend on the selected object. Common actions include copy, cut, duplicate, delete, bring forward, send backward, and layout-specific actions.
Good practice
Use the context menu for local component work. Use the ribbon for report-level actions such as save, publish, preview, export, layout mode, and zoom.
