Troubleshooting Output Design
Use this page when an output does not preview, filter, format, or export as expected.
Common issues

| Component shows no data | Confirm section and field bindings, then check filters. |
| Chart looks empty | Confirm the value field is numeric and aggregation is set. |
| Table overflows the page | Reduce columns, adjust width, switch orientation, or use landscape. |
| Export differs from preview | Check page size, margins, headers/footers, and unsupported export behavior. |
| Filter removes too much data | Check whether the filter is visual, page, or report scope. |
| Formatting does not apply | Confirm the selected component type supports the chosen property. |
Recovery workflow
- Save the current design if it is worth preserving.
- Use undo for recent changes.
- Remove filters temporarily.
- Confirm bindings with a simple table.
- Reapply formatting after the data shape is correct.
