Storage Settings
Storage Settings is where Org Admins add storage providers, verify connections, and set the default provider for document file uploads. Access: Settings → Storage.
Storage providers panel
The panel lists all configured storage providers with their current status.
| Column | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Provider | Provider type icon and name (Supabase, SharePoint, R2) |
| Label | The name you gave this provider when configuring it |
| Status | Verified (green) / Failed (red) / Pending (grey) |
| Default | Badge on the currently active default provider |
| Last Verified | When Kazinex last successfully connected |
Adding a new provider
Click Add Provider and select the provider type:
| Provider | Setup guide |
|---|---|
| Supabase | Supabase Storage |
| SharePoint Online | SharePoint Integration |
| R2 Cloudflare | R2 Cloudflare Setup |
Setting the default provider
Click ⋮ → Set as Default on any verified provider. The default provider is used for all new document uploads in the organisation.
Important: Setting a new default does not move existing files. Files uploaded to the previous provider remain there and continue to be accessible through Kazinex. Only new uploads use the new default.
Status monitoring
| Status | Meaning | Action |
|---|---|---|
| Verified (green) | Connection tested successfully | None required |
| Failed (red) | Kazinex cannot connect to the provider | Click Run Verification to retry; follow the provider-specific troubleshooting |
| Pending (grey) | Newly added, not yet verified | Click Run Verification |
SharePoint note: OAuth tokens expire. If SharePoint shows Failed, click Reconnect and re-complete the Microsoft OAuth flow.
Project-level storage override
By default, all projects use the org default provider. A Project Admin can override this for a specific project:
- In the project: Settings → Storage.
- Select a different provider from the dropdown.
- Save.
Documents uploaded in this project go to the project-level provider. Documents from other projects are unaffected.
