Build an Executive Dashboard

This tutorial creates a one-page executive dashboard that summarizes status, progress, risk, and actions.

Outcome​

You will build a page with KPI cards, one chart, one risk/action table, and a page-level filter.

Steps​

  1. Open the output template in the Output Editor tab.
  2. Choose grid layout for the page.
  3. Add three KPI cards: overall status, progress, and overdue actions.
  4. Add a Chart for trend or category comparison.
  5. Add a Table for open risks or actions.
  6. Use the Fields and build panel to bind each component.
  7. Add a page filter for reporting period or package.
  8. Use the Format panel to align titles, labels, colors, and spacing.
  9. Preview against a real edition.
  10. Export a PDF test before publishing.

Quality check​

The page should answer three questions quickly: What is the overall status, what changed, and what needs attention?
