Output Editor Tab
The output editor is the main design surface for report pages. It combines the ribbon, component picker, fields pane, canvas, build panel, format panel, filters, page tabs, and export preview.
Editor areas
| Area | Purpose |

| Ribbon | Save, publish, layout mode, preview, export, insert, view, and format actions. |
| Component picker | Insert tables, charts, KPIs, schedule visuals, images, filters, and layout elements. |
| Fields pane | Browse blueprint sections and fields that can feed report components. |
| Canvas | Place report components in grid or freeform layout mode. |
| Build panel | Bind fields, configure data shape, and set component-specific structure. |
| Format panel | Configure visual styling, axes, labels, colors, spacing, borders, and component appearance. |
| Filters panel | Add visual, page, and report filters. |
| Page tabs | Manage report pages and page-level settings. |
First design path
Start with one page, one KPI row, one chart, and one detail table. Add filters, formatting, and advanced components after the core story is readable.
